2013 Festival Focuses on Individual Bravery from Around the World with more than 50 Events across the island of Manhattan
The notion of bravery—in art, politics, and personal lives—will be a major theme when more than 100 writers from across the globe gather in New York City for the ninth annual PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature, April 29-May 5. Featuring the mix of performances, readings, discussions, workshops, and happenings that the Festival is known for, the 2013 schedule presents more than 50 events that will foster an open discussion and exchange of ideas on a variety of contemporary cultural and political issues.
