Lidia Yuknavitch

Lidia Yuknavitch is the nationally bestselling author of the novels Thrust, The Book of Joan, The Small Backs of Children, and Dora: A Headcase, and of the memoirs Reading the Waves and The Chronology of Water. The Chronology of Water was adapted into a film by Kristen Stewart. She is the recipient of two Oregon Book Awards and grants from Poets and Writers and Oregon Literary Arts. Her TED Talk, “On the Beauty of Being a Misfit,” has over 4.5 million views. Her nonfiction book The Misfit’s Manifesto is based on her TED Talk.
