Guadalupe Nettel is a Mexican writer, author of award-winning novels and collections of short stories translated into more than twenty languages. In 2008 she received a PhD in Literature from the EHESS in Paris. She’s been the editor of cultural and literary magazines such as Número Cero and Revista de la Universidad de México. Her work has been adapted into theater and film. Still Born, her most recent novel, has been a finalist of the International Booker Prize. She lives in Paris as a writer in residency at the Columbia University Center for Ideas and Imagination.
