E. Madison Shimoda

E. Madison Shimoda is a writer and translator of Japanese literature, who was born in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, and lived in Tokyo, Japan, before settling in New York City. Her published work includes Syou Ishida’s We’ll Prescribe You a Cat series, as well as Aoyama Michiko’s Hot Chocolate on Thursday. Her upcoming work includes the sequel Matcha on Monday, alongside ongoing projects that explore the stylistic nuances of contemporary Japanese prose.
