Gabino Iglesias is a writer, journalist, professor, and literary critic. He is the author of House of Bone and Rain and the Shirley Jackson and Bram Stoker Award–winning novel The Devil Takes You Home, as well as the critically acclaimed and award-winning novels Zero Saints and Coyote Songs. His nonfiction has appeared in the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and Esquire. His literary criticism appears regularly in venues such as NPR, The Boston Globe, CrimeReads, and Locus Magazine, among others. His work has been optioned for film and translated into eight languages. He currently teaches at the UC Riverside Palm Desert Low-Residency MFA.
