Sarah Jeong is a lawyer, journalist, and author who writes for The Verge. She was previously on the editorial board of The New York Times, and has bylines in The Atlantic, The Washington Post, Vice, The New York Times Magazine, and more. In 2025, she received Public Knowledge’s IP3 Award in Intellectual Property for her writing on copyright law, including The Internet of Garbage, a book about policy, technology, and online harassment. She was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in Media in 2017.
