Many authors draw on stories from the past in order to write about the present. Join acclaimed writers Petina Gappah, Jennifer Clement, Carles Torner, and Tomica Bajsić as they read their own words and share the works of the literary giants on whose shoulders they stand. This evening will be moderated by writer and translator Esther Allen.

Presented in partnership with Baruch College’s Great Works of Literature and Sidney Harman Writer-in-Residence Programs.

This event has been cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak. Please stay tuned for updates about future PEN World Voices Festival programming.
