Biography
D.P. Snyder is a bilingual writer and translator from Spanish. Her translations have appeared in The Southern Review, Exile Quarterly, Two Lines Journal, The Sewanee Review, and Latin American Literature in Translation, among others. Her translation of Mónica Lavín’s “Coyoacán a la carte” (World Literature Today, November 2022) was nominated for a Pushcart Prize. Among her book-length works are: MEATY PLEASURES by Mónica Lavín (Katakana Editores 2021); ARRHYTHMIAS by Angelina Muñiz-Huberman (Literal Publishing & Hablemos, escritoras 2022), and SCARY STORY by Alberto Chimal (Fall-Winter 2023, Pamenar Press). She is a contributor to Public Seminar at The New School and Reading in Translation at Oberlin College, where she is on the Editorial Board. She serves on the PEN America Translation Committee.
