Biography
Emily Raboteau writes at the intersection of parenthood and social and environmental justice. She is a professor of English at the City College of New York, a regular contributor to The New York Review of Books, and a contributing editor at Orion Magazine. Her last book, Searching for Zion, won an American Book Award. Her next book, Lessons for Survival, comes out next year. Since the publication of the 2018 IPCC report, she has been writing about the climate crisis.
