Eun-sung Kim is a South Korean playwright and the director of Dalnara Dongbakkot Company. Kim’s debut play, Shidong Rahsah, was awarded the 2006 Korea Times Award for Best Play. His major works include Sunshine Warriors, Sister Mok-rahn, Mother Yonbian, Hamik, Uncle Soon-woo, Lunar Soap Opera, Tideland (Bbul), and Bbang Bbang Bbang. Kim is the recipient of multiple awards including Daesan Creative Writing Funds, Dong-A Theater Award for Best Play, Doosan Artist Award, and the Cha Bumseok Play Award.
