Kaiama L. Glover is Associate Professor of French and Africana Studies at Barnard College, Columbia University. She is author of Haiti Unbound: A Spiralist Challenge to the Postcolonial Canon and translator of Frankétienne’s Ready to Burst, Marie Chauvet’s Dance on the Volcano, and René Depestre’s Hadriana in All My Dreams. She has won awards from the PEN/Heim Foundation, the NEA, the NEH, and the Mellon and Fulbright Foundations. She is Editor of sx archipelagos: a small axe journal of digital practice and is completing a monograph on narcissism and womanhood in Caribbean prose fiction.
