Katrina Dodson

Biography

Katrina Dodson is the translator of Clarice Lispector’s Complete Stories, winner of the the 2016 PEN Translation Prize and other awards. She is currently translating the Brazilian modernist classic Macunaíma: the Hero Without a Character, by Mário de Andrade, for New Directions and adapting her Lispector translation journal into a book. She is from San Francisco and holds a PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
