Kiran Desai

Kiran Desai is the author of two novels, HULLABALOO IN THE GUAVA ORCHARD and THE INHERITANCE OF LOSS for which she received the Man Booker Prize and the National Book Critics Circle Award. Her work has been translated into over 35 languages. She is the recipient of a Guggenheim fellowship, a fellowship from the American Academy in Berlin, and a Columbia University Medal of Excellence. She is currently completing a novel titled THE LONELINESS OF SONIA AND SUNNY.
