Lauren Elkin

Biography

Lauren Elkin’s essays have appeared in The New York Times Book Review, the Guardian, and frieze, among others, and she is a contributing editor at The White Review. Her translation of Claude Arnaud’s Jean Cocteau (with Charlotte Mandell) is a finalist for the French-American Foundation Translation Prize and was long-listed for the PEN/Jacqueline Bograd Weld Award for biography. She lives in Paris.
