Margo Jefferson


Margo Jefferson, a Pulitzer Prize-winning critic, is the author of Negroland, which won the 2015 National Book Critics Circle Award for Autobiography. She has been a staff writer for The New York Times and Newsweek, and has published in New York Magazine, The Nation, Vogue, The Believer, Guernica, Bookforum, and Grand Street. She teaches in The Writing Program at Columbia University.
