Biography

Marjan Moghaddam is a renowned, pioneering, influential and widely exhibited digital artist known for her unique and original style of Posthuman figuration/animation and critical discourse. She is recipient of top awards, has received grants from Rockefeller Fund, was a pioneering digital artist of the Internet 1.0 era, and has exhibited commissioned work at the Smithsonian & other museums. She is an Adobe Artist-In-Resident and was designated Forbes’ Best of AR Art. Her art is held in NFT, DAOs, and other art collections and she has created public art commissions internationally. Hailed as a “trailblazer in digital art” and “the definition of Digital art,” she has gone viral with her #arthacks and was featured in the BBC documentary WHEN ART GOES. She was Metas Artist for Digital Collectibles, and she is a tenured full professor of Digital Art at LIU/Brooklyn.
