Biography
Maya Gittelman is a queer nonbinary Fil–Am and Jewish writer and critic. Their debut short story publication is forthcoming in the YA anthology NIGHT OF THE LIVING QUEERS, releasing this fall through Wednesday Books. Her work centers queer, trans, anti–imperialist liberation, joy, ache, and love. She reviews genre media for Tordotcom, and their cultural criticism has been published in The Body is Not An Apology among other publications. Formerly the events and special projects manager at a Manhattan branch of Barnes & Noble, she is currently at work on a novel.
