Biography
Phil Klay is an author and Marine Corps veteran of the Iraq War. His short story collection REDEPLOYMENT won the 2014 National Book Award for Fiction, and his novel MISSIONARIES was listed by the Wall Street Journal and by former President Barack Obama’s as one of the best books of the year. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Atlantic, and The New Yorker. He currently teaches at Fairfield University.
