Salman Rushdie


Salman Rushdie is the author of twelve novels including Midnight’s Children, winner of the 1981 Booker Prize and Best of the Booker in 2008. His thirteenth novel, The Golden House, will hit bookstores in September. A former president of PEN America, Rushdie is currently a Distinguished Writer in Residence at New York University. He was knighted in 2007 for his services to literature.
